The 'Bar Piece' range

One of the most common gifts is an alcoholic beverage of some sort. As commonly observed, if it can also be embraced in a shape that is model like in appearance and is typical of his/her interest, pastime or personal environment, looks good, functional and appreciates in value, you will have one happy person that will feature the unit with pride of place within his/her domain.

When Ceramic Innovations was incorporated back in 1996, it was identified that there was a lack of premium merchandise for the corporate community at large. That is, gifts that could be given away by a business that may require a premium touch for product launches, Christmas or a general token of gratitude to those that support the business in an instrumental fashion. From scratch, we design, then sculpt and then eventually manufacture a decanter that captures the spirit and/or image of the company that chooses to use our service. Generally, the product or service is modelled upon. These then, in turn, are given away appropriately by the company.

Within the same family of decanters we also design shapes that are appealing to the general community at large. These shapes are generally modelled upon a countries culture or ones pastime or interest. They are sold directly or via licensed liquor outlets.

To embrace the ideal we have aptly called this range the 'Bar Piece'. On each of our 'Bar Pieces' you will find a number that corresponds to a shape that has either been manufactured for the general public or by a company that has used our service, respectively.

This is the exciting aspect of our business. Given that each are numbered exclusively for its shape, and that, all have a minimum run and are limited within numbers produced, makes these units very collectable and appreciative in value. Particularly those 'Bar Pieces' that have been commissioned by a company. These need to be sourced by another collecting and are not available to anybody else other than those that are the recipient by the company.

Eclectic Vessels
This is the brand name given to our range of bulk beverage containers. These decanters are sold directly or are available to the public via gift stores, agents, merchandising outlets, liquor outlets etc. They do not contain any beverage in them when sold. They have been produced to harness alcoholic beverages however.

These 'Eclectic Vessels' have been designed to cosmetically lift ones home or office bar where beverages may be kept. Once again, they have been styled upon ones personal environment or interest.

All feature a brass tap, a chemically inert grommet (so as the alcohol doesn't attack) ceramic body for the decanter, food grade glazes and generally hand made components made of wood or metals to help complement the shape. ie wooden or metal stands.

Australian Grand Prix Collectors Series
Since 1996 Ceramic Innovation has been involved with the Australian Grand Prix Corporation. We have been producing licensed merchandising for each year the Australian Grand Prix has been held in Melbourne Australia. This series has been limited by only 500 units produced for each year since 1996. All are filled with a whisky and modelled upon a racing car that is typical of that years shape.

The year 2000 will see us begin the association with the Motorcycle Grand Prix. These decanters are very much collectable, offering a twist within its range.
